I played NFS Undercover and Racedriver GRID on both in HD and graphically, I couldn't tell them apart. They have identical graphics, maybe if you were a true HD nut you'd be able to spot some difference. But I couldn't, so on graphics alone, either one could float your boat.

Why are we answering a question from 2007?
The debate is largely irrelevant. They are being utilized by game developers in essentially identical ways--ie: they look the same. So, that really isn't an issue.
What should be a determining factor would be what you want to do with it.
If you want to play games, go for which ever has the games you want balanced against the cost. Is it worth the extra money to get PS3 exclusives or whatever...
If you want total HD content, you benefit greatly from the PS3's Blu-ray.
Whatever.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
