need to kill the vamps in the gutted mine ,but i get killed. all i got as weapons are the 2 handed katana, a steel sword and a dagger of woe . i kill 1 or 2 but never all

well, try lowering the difficulty just for the time and/or stock up on health potions, what level are you?

I agree try lower the difficulty. I played it on the default and got my butt kicked, lowered the difficulty a couple of notches and breezed right through it. Also I find sneaking works well too.

you need to level up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no other way vampires are tough you'll end up like this every time (also try becoming vampire)
