Medieval 2: Total War Message Board  

i have four vassals Danmark, France, Milan and Venice Im not English but i like them better than this faction WE RULEZ!!

i forgot something. I have agreement to other faction that they should give me some military support but why they are not sending their troops? i get ****ed off when i loosed to the enemy

by the way, how can i have a general? by not adopting to my family? can i create? how? please tell

i have the turks, the byznatine empire, the aztecs and russia as my vassals. i control all the territory not owned by my vassals(except Rome) and all the cardinals and the pope are english (i'm england)

that happened to me as well. i got france to aid me in my war with england and then 2 turns later they announced they were allies!!!!

I control the all nation no one want to fight with me because i have 2 to 3 units to their territory i camp close to them.

all my alliance is coward they don't want to send their troops to me when i had a war with the Egypt. France who's the one always doing that to me ignoring me when i send a diplomat to them, i need to pay them first before they will give me some of their troops

anyway, mate do you know how to create a General? i don't want to adopt and they'll become a member to my family. i want only the pure English a little bit Spanish blood is okey i adopt one Spanish Prince please mate if you know something tell me thanks!

i'm fairly certain that if you promote a captain it will say adopt but he won't show on the family tree.

they show the family tree and the general is there

by the way why i cant find the descr_character.txt and descr_unit.txt ? i looked everywhere and found nothing

i play with the bizantines... despite the fact that they have a drawback in tech... used carefully and placed well they will kick ass... did the bizantine reconquista of the justinian times by 1250... vassals... bunch of ignorants ingrates who only want protection and do nothing in return... why would i need their money when i can take their cities and burn them down and then make them bizantine and extremely docile to say the least?.... vassals are almost useless... i got one (venice) and it lasted for 5 turns when the french decided that they wanted my lands...
