Well, this one is on the Cheif's quests. But the Gathering Hall quest for the Rathalos is on ***3 quests.

He, my main blade I use is the Devil Slicer. Well if you Have or can get the Bone Katana Dragon, you can upgrade it to the Devil Slicer. You will need 20 Carbalite Ore, 50 Earth Crystals, and 10 Thunder Sacs.

I've beaten many a Rathalos and have never seen even 1 Hrd Monster Bone.

hmmm... Oh! Try killing Diablos or Monoblos. They almost always give you Hrd monster bones.
