It worked straight away for me, use the link in 'Cheats not compatible. Refer to content.'topic for reference. Also check that you have used the correct profile, maybe you choose the one of HOMM 5 instead of the add-on, another option could be; check and see if you have the setvar dev_console_password = schwinge-des-todes line also in the original autoexec.cfg file, i have it there aswell as in autoexec_a1.cfg, meaning both.

Mmm...how about creating a new profile? I tried as what being posted by Damios and it doesn't work with my already created profile (the profile i made before applying the cheat), but it works with new one.

I hope this give some help.

It all worked fine for me.

As for the script names of the characters, just check the mapeditor and for the exp cheat on the dwarfs you first need to give them exp the normal way and then use that cheat, otherwise it won't work.

For me getting the console to show went easy but when i get into the game and type etc. add_all_spells, it just WONT work and its bothering me crazy.
Anyone got an idea of what i can do to make this stop happening?

after version 1.2 the cheat console was disabled. the in game value addresses became dynamic, and is always changing, thats why they cant make a trainer for this game anymore. trainers is just a program set to change a certain value from the address in the game. the old version game uses the same address for things like creature count, resources, and things like that so the trainer just changes the value from there. the developers are trying to prevent cheating i guess.
