go to the side road coming off of the Green Road and go basicaly east of there don't even have yor weapon out or it will attack you, so ride it to safety
go a few steps past the inn of ill omen (Dark brotherhood quest) then turn completely east and keep travling through the bush. you will reach a grove. Minotors are defending it. lure them away because if the unicorn see's you with weapon drawn she'll attack! kill minotor out of her sight then walk back slowly. press spacebar to mount and off you go.
I learnt not to draw weapon the hard way. was riding it down a road when i saw a deer. Being a keen hunter i jumped of a drew bow the all hell broke lose! Hated to kill such a majestic crature but it was me or her
