After you go to Sky Tower and defeat Rayquaza you go to Whiscash and then you'll see one of the Square's Pokemon evolved. So now if you're on the correct level to be able to evolve you go to the Luminous Cave and remember you have to be alone with no one in your team.

after beating the game, light cave will ope in the middle of whiscash pond, and if you have certain items and go in alone you can evolve

Okay so heres the deal you can only evolve your pokemon in certain ways one is the Luminis Cave you send your teammate in alone they go into the cave then they find a huge rock then they get evolved. Some pokemon have to be holding certain items while in Luminis Cave to evolve. Another way is to trade pokemon with friends. Now to explain what the game is about you wake up and your a pokemon but they give you a test to see what pokemon you will be. Then trying to return to normal you form a team with other pokemon and go on missions rise in rank and level etc. You can recruit wild pokemon by defeating themin battle and impressing them (its easier to do when your at a higher level). You can also recruit legendary pokemon its impossible to be a legendary pokemon at the begginning of the game. To catch certain pokemon you have to have their friend area I hope thos info helps anybody who reads this good luck and happy adventuring.

Okay im back and i will explain a few things for ya. When you recruit pokemon and take them to their friend area (witch some can be bought from Wigglytuff others you have to obtain when you complete missions) and if you give them gummis in their friend area sometimes they get stat boosts. Also like somebody else just said a while ago their are dojos. You can leave your weak partners there and they train and become stronger. And unlike other games if one of the pokemon in your team defeats a pokemon everybody gets the excact same exp. points. Oh ya and if later on in the game you defeat Jirachi ask him to join your team he is a good strong small pokemon to have in a team. Oh yeah and if you run into Deoxys dark attacks are best against him but when you fight his defense form clonetake him out quick if you don't he will become immune to your attacks. Deoxys is a good team member. So try to get him on your team. But you have to have his Friend area. this is the kid who has almost all the answers to the game if ya need me just type.
