Rome: Total War Message Board  

can anyone explaine why the game im playing is rome total war gold edition can anyone help solve this problem pls

Hi mate,

Im sorry to hear that your tidle button (~) isnt working. This sadly is the only possible way to use the cheats for Rome:Total War. Why not try to just play the game without using the cheats? Its just as fun, i think Rome:Total War is an excellent game, on my behalf. Once again, sorry to hear that your tidle button isnt up to scratch!

I haven't played gold edition so i don't know that the ~ button work in it but mayby your keybord has problem. realy sad. the game is without ~.

The ` key wont work on windows vista, least it didnt work on mine, games that use the tilde key wont work, like oblivion, fallout, RTW etc. I fixed it by installing XP

Well on my keyboard instead of pressing ~ I use ` the key just under Esc.
