yeah ... but your gfs must of been stronger then his cos other than that he would be able to kill him too!

Sorry for the extreme bump, but i beat that machine, now im having some trouble with beating Raijin and Fuijin, Raijin was easy but when Fuijin came along, i always died even though i was level 40 and up. This is ridiculos!

Raijin uses physical attacks and won't hit girls and Fujin uses wind based attacks so you should put tornado or aero in your elemental defence on a female character who will essentially be immortal during the fight.

Don't forget to draw the GF from Fujin.
Also increasing your level will increase your opponent’s levels.

I cant put elemental defence on any of the girls, the button is just grey.

Junction Ifrit to a girl, IIRC he has the Elemental Defence ability.

Quezacotl, Shiva, and Ifrit, all have the Elem Def-J abilities. Junction those to your party and junction elemental magic (Tornado or Aero: Get them by drawing from Thrustaevis on the outskirts of Timber or Deling City).

BTW, Levels mean almost nothing in this game. The only two things they mean are:
1) The higher Squall's level the more SeeD tests you can take.
2) The higher the average of your party's level is, the higher the enemies' level will be.

This game is so broken because Junctions are what determine your stats mainly. Just Junction a good magic on your strength stat and you should be able to get great damage output.

Regen (Obtain by Drawing from Mesmerize on the Trabia Continent, or Mug them for Mesmerize Blades and Refine those into Regen via Siren's L-Magic Refine ability) gives great HP boosts, and Tornado (mentioned before) goes well on your strength stat. Just junction Aero on your elemental defence if you're still scared.
