anyone have tips on getting the 1000 points needed for Phil's Training??

I heard you need Fenrir and Negative combo equipped... any truth to that?

Yes, my friend also had trouble with this. Unequip every ability you have except for the growth abilities (i.e. high jump lvl.1), Draw, Scan, and Negative Combo. Equip Fenrir also. Now, every time you try to swing, Sora automatically does his finishing move (which break the barrels). Standing in the middle of a crowd of barrels will cause him to do a finishing horizontal slice, taking out many barrels. When the big barrel appears, go behind it and aim it at the group of barrels (it always appears with a cluster). THe large barrel will roll and take out the smaller barrels, dramatically increasing oyur points. It's hard (took me four times)

You don't have to unequip enerything just the combo pluses and the air combo pluses and equip fenrir and negative combo plus

I have done all of that... yet, I can't seem to get past 700 orbs. Sora is maxed out lvl wise...

i did it and I didn't have fenrir, so you don't have to but it would help if you already have it. explosion works really well for the clusters of small pots. then you have to hit the large pots into the smaller ones for more points. you do need draw equpped as well and if you have the draw ring equip that as well.

wut REALLY helps for me is that one ability, that gives me more mp, and hp spheres. so try that, it really helps.

and aim the big barrels into the smaller ones and all the draw items and abilities equipped.

Just do what Elk said, it is easy and works very well.

Unequip all combo/air combo pluses and equip negitive combo and the Fenir Keyblade.

Get behind a big barrel, aim it at the smaller ones and attack. The big one smashing itself into the smallers ones will make the small barrel orbs into big barrel orbs.

I have done every part of what you guys mentioned, yet cant get more than 700 orbs... I must be doing something wrong...
