i know! every time i beat him, i thought that would be the last time...but nooooo

he had to be a total and come back every time you killed him, made me really mad and still does when I try to see if I got the secret ending.

Actually, u wouldn't be battling an evil octupus in the first place, but i see what u mean.

The same thing (about Xemnas) happened in KH1 with Ansem!

yeah... you had to battle him 5 times.
When he possessed riku
When he had his shadow thing on destiny Islands
When he had his shadow thing in the cavern of broken trees
when he became the Ship's captain
when he became the ship's captain again

Also, did you notice that in all three games (kh1, COM, kh2) the final battles take place in some sort of ship?
KH1: In kingdom hearts when ansem joined forces with the cores of the abyss
COM: When marluxia used his nobody to attack you.
KH2: xemnas' wierd nobody thing

Is it worth it to buy a GBA just for CoM?

Or would someone like to share the plot and character details?

well, I guess it would get kind of irritating if the final boss was just fought in one form/stage.

I didn't actually play the game. I just watched a bunch of movies and stuff.
PLOT: Sora and goofy and donald are at a crossroads when this what we now know as an unknown tells him that he will get something great but loose something dear. He ends up at a twisted castle where he gains much knowledge about where to find riku and micky, but namine is ordered to slowly make Sora's memories disappear. After you beat the game, namine is free and is able to restore sora's memories, but it will take a year, and sora will not remember anything of the events that happened in the game except for KH1. so he sleeps inside a pod and awaits when he will be let out.
