how cand i make the unlock cheat work? i tried everything but it dosen't work

You mean the unlock door, chest etc. cheat? You type in the ~(tilde) key and face the door/chest that you want to unlock and click on it and type unlock and it should work.

Me too. It doesn't matter if you beat the game or not the cheats should still work. Usually the only time I use cheats is either when I beat the game, or get stuck or bored.
