This was the hardest thing for me to get past also,but i have a trick. What you can do to save time is, you nudge the sheep forward, then press exit. This will pause everything but the sheep. They will keep moving. But it is still up to you to direct them.

No, no. You get the first one in the pen, then when you did that the guy will say something. As he's saying it, press escape, and the clock will stop but you will be able to move and put the sheep in. Hoped that helped!
