I dont know if this helps, but I've had the same problem. It was because my controller wasnt fully inserted into the 2nd controller port. Apparently it wont launch without two controllers plugged in.

are you trying to do a 2 playa co-op, or face against eachother. because you can only do co-op online, which kinda blows!

yeah it sucks...it should realy be the other way around to be honest....oh has any of you heard of the second one -area 52.....? 🤔 🤔
