Whenever I play ds2, I get to play for about 10 min and then suddenly my computer will reboot. I have a few mods installed and I used a trainer. Is anyone else having this problem, or know of a fix? My comp is 3.2 ghz and a Radeon 9800 xt video card.

I have the same problem, with my computer. Are you using Windows XP? Apparently Microsoft, doesn't know why this is happening to my computer, my video card is GeForce 6800. Is the first time your computer has rebooted? Keep track of how many times this happen's, and let Micrsoft know. If it happen's to other players, they will problably make a patch to correct this problem.

Try Fixit Utilites 5, after I installed this program it fixed alot of problems. I played for about four hours, and had "no" problems. And you know what is funny, Microsoft had no idea what was wrong with my problem. So far, no problems as of yet.

FixIt Utilities 5 or (6)new version.

The problem with my system was overheating. On one occasion, I heard the temperature alarm go off just before it shut down. I installed a water cooling system and have now played for about 16 hour with no problems at all. You may need to look at cooling solutions for your system. I installed the Thermaltake Big water and a video block and now my system runs at about 60 degrees from the 75 + that it waws running. The cooling system was about $239 cdn or about $150 USD. It was worth every penny to me. I see all the new games coming are going to be just as CPU and Graphics hungry if not more.

Some games overheat your system,no matter if your computer has the minimum requierments.
Mostly the problem is the cooler. When you play some games,it overheats the system, that he cant cool him off,so hi reboots your computer.
I had that kind of problems with a few games.Make sure you have a good cooler.

How long has it been since you have opened your case and cleaned it out??

You'd be surprised how much dust sitting on your video card or motherboard can cause your pc to crash when playing games. Go buy a compressed air can and clean it out as a short term fix.

If it still keeps happening you might want to backup your save game files and reinstall the game, or invest in a coolant system.

You also might want to take out the video card and clean it thoroughly.
