How do you find stones i want to evole my vulpix to a ninetales but need a fire stone, where can i find them???

search for a boy name alan where you find sudowoodo. take his phone number and wait for his call and he will ask you to take something from him that is fire stone

Also theres that guy, Bill's grandfather or whatever, and he lives on the cape of Cerulean, and you show him pokemon that match the descriptions he gives, and he gives you a stone for that type of pokemon.... i think. I havn't played in ages.
