maybe your not strong enough (in level)
do you have potions and ethers?
does Donald and Goofy have potions and ethers? (make sure to set to last hope)
try to kill Clayton before attacking the Sneak thing, and use lots of magic (thunder most likely) on Clayton to shock him backwards then go attack him.
i tried that but i still died
well, the only thing I can think of at the moment is for you to go back to other worlds and battle heartless to get stronger.
