Guys Steam literally says PVP online. Does this game let you put STEAM in offline mode, then unplug your internet then play?

I'm not sure why they didn't add the Singleplayer tag, but it's an asynchronous multiplayer game that can be played offline.

Calling this game PVP is misleading. At best, you play against AI controlled copies of a random players' equipment layout. At worst, it generates random equipment layouts and puts player names on it. There is no way to tell, which is true, as you cannot play against a specific player. It is always random.

Just to test out ,put Steam in offline mode,turned off internet and run the game. Works the same as online ,not sure if it`s only me,can someone else try ? 😎

Just did a full "Ranked Game" run with my internet turned off. No issues, reinforcing my suspicion, that this game actually randomly creates the opponents, rather than using data from actual players. Nothing in the game can actually be called multiplayer OR pvp.
