its fun, but it is a bit laggy, even though im alone. They are using google servers apparently, duno if thats a good thing or bad.
BTW, if you havnt, make sure you collect the twitch drops, the gear you get is far superior to anything you get early on, i went from quality 16 gear to quaility 38

Just to be sure i am going to try unplugging and see if it works, has anyone tried unplugging Internet, right now i'm downloading the game.

you cant play without internet, it has to connect to the servers, if you try running steam in offline mode the game just quits to desktop.

I'm playing now and it's running perfectly and I'm in the UK, servers are allegedly based in NA, that person must have poor internet or something. My ping is 20ms

It's early access and unpolished in places. They tell you that right up front. I am having no issues worthy of talking about. Enjoying the game very much.

Basing whether a game is good or not based on what others say it rather silly to me. Steam gives you 4 hours and I have yet to find a game that 4 hours was not long enough to figure that out. Most it's under and hour. Every game I have refunded with Steam I have gotten my money ban within 1 business day or less.

There are many games out there that people rave about, I tried them and hated them. And the opposite is true. Games that people hated like they had kicked their puppy. I tried and loved them. No mans Sky comes to mind. Been playing since day one. There are more.

Listening to a critic is to me letting someone make up my mind for me.

There is absolutely no reason for this survival crafting game to be online only.
