Aurora takes a lot of time to launch

    Recent updates made launch times of Aurora rather long. Sometimes it takes about 2 minutes until the login screen appears. I can opt out network/provider issues as my PC can make use of the full gigabit speed and ping times are around 2-4ms. Disabled Defender to see if it is AV-related but to no avail.

    When Aurora is finally launched and I am logged in, there are no speed issues at all. Does CH currently face any login server problems?

    My Machine runs W10 23H2 w/ latest updates.

    There are currently no login server issues. Comes right up for me. Maybe you have a lot of standalone trainers or something else it has to check for login, not sure. 0x90 can answer.

    Is this just the first time after you launched Windows or does it always take so long? There is not really any "background activity" when login screen appears. Except that it checks if CH server is online. Which could take longer if there are DNS issues and it takes longer to resolve the hostname (once resolved its cached, which could explain that afterwards its fast for you).

    I have just rebooted my machine and also did a DNS cache flush. Same on the router to rule out any problems that could come from network side. This time Aurora launched a bit faster and the logon screen appeared after a minute approx.

    Just a bit odd as it usually launched instant earlier (a week ago).

    Anyway, as long as Aurora loads in general and I have access to the trainers, it's all okay for me so far. Just wanted to report it. Maybe somebody else also has similar issues and a network-related troubleshooting (clear DNS cache etc.) can resolve any startup delays of Aurora
