Hi. i keep seeing posts about unretiring this game so i wanted to tell you guys that theres no need for a trainer cause you can do more than a trainer does with just simple xml editing. you can edit so a planet gives you infinite money every day, one second build times for everything or even god mode for your units.

To edit XML, you need to extract the config.meg, patch.meg and patch2.meg files using a Meg extractor (google it and download the one from Petroglyphs website).

From here, place the XML files you edit into the corruption/DATA/XML (create one if it does not exist). They will take effect once they are there, however you should know that this will make your client non-vanilla (even if you change a single line in the XML) and therefore incompatible with other online vanilla players.

Then you just need to search the xmls for what you need editing.

I thought the whole point of trainers was to not have to mess around with this thing?
Honestly reading this made my eyes glaze over, i was just trying to have fun with the game with limited time.

Trainer works here. And has for some time. But complaints continue, and I have no solution. So, you can try the editing.
