Reason: Aurora Crashing to Desktop / Not loading Trainers
    Version of Aurora: 1.8.8
Subject in Short: Try to activate trainer for games that result in a crash of Aurora or mono pipe fail.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Launch Aurora
    2. Launch My Time at Sandrock / Game
    3. Press F1 in Menu to activate trainer
    4. Crash to Desktop

After the update to 1.8.8, Aurora has been crashing to the desktop with no message or coming up with a mono pipe fail and saying to reload the game. I have tried rebooting said games (have tried both My Time at Sandrock and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor), as well as reinstalling Aurora, which has resulted in the same issue.

I had posted in Discord about this, but after getting a reply asking if I had rebooted the game and the computer, reinstalled it, and verified it, the post has been locked I can't reply to it. I have tried all these options.

Error Message (TEXT ONLY): No error report (crash to desktop).

19:32:45: My Time at Sandrock, 4.1.2.104518 (STEAM), Last modified: 11/26/2023 13:23:42

19:33:00: Connecting to mono pipe failed
19:33:00: Please restart the game and try again.

are you launching My Time at Sandrock from Aurora? are you opening the trainer before the game? have you set the anti-virus exclusions?

I have set up the anti-virus correctly, and I launched Aurora before I launched the game through Steam. I have just tried launching through Aurora after this suggestion but results in the same crash to desktop.

So the GAME is crashing when you activate the trainer? Have you enabled the ingame overlay (if so please disable it)?

Only run Windows Defender and Windows Firewall (and have allowed Aurora through both); used to run Kaspersky, but the subscription ran out and got rid of it and haven't really ever had the issues people have with virus scanners and trainers / Aurora.

I just downloaded 1.8.8 and successfully activated it on My Time At Sandrock. So its something on your end causing this problem. I don't know what you have installed and what else runs on your system so I cannot be more precise.

You might also take a look at the event viewer to see if there is a crash entry. If not then its definitely something "external".
