G'day
When I try and open certain trainers with Aurora I am getting an error that states:
Microsoft Edge cannot read and write to its Data Directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Aurora\Aurora.exe.WebView2\EBWebView.
Tried redownloading and it still pops up no matter where I put it. But I don't use Edge either which is really odd that its an Edge error?

Aurora uses WebView which uses Edge (Chromium). I think the issue is that for writing to this directory, webview2 would need to run as administrator which it doesn't for security purpose. A quick fix would be to move the Aurora folder outside of "Program Files". For example to your desktop, another drive, my documents folder etc.
Fixed in next Aurora update

Thanks! I have moved it and it usually runs as Admin but I have moved it to a different folder and so far so good. I also used workaround and just made that folder myself which also seems to work.

If you run Aurora as admin, the webview2 part will still run without admin rights. Its a security mechanism. The workaround is to move the folder else where or just store the webview2 cache outside of Aurora folder. Which is what next Aurora update will do.
