The Forest Message Board  

I know The Forest is an old game, but it's in the top 50 most played games on Steam right now. It's popularity is actually higher in the last six months than it's ever been and it's not even an outlier (according to steamdb, it's popularity has climbed fairly steadily over the years). It actually places higher on steam's most played list than every single game on the CH homepage right now except Sons of the Forest... the sequel to this game!

So yeah, personally I feel like this game is deserving of an update. I do realize that it may not be that simple and may even require a complete rewrite. If that's the case, even though it's technically listed as "active" it could always be added to the requests list like a title being considered for "un-retirement".

That sounds like a yes to an update being possible (exciting, if so!), but I'm not sure exactly what part of my post it is in response to. 😅
