After a long time i tried overlay from aora v1.6.0. Tried in 2 games. Raft and DeadSpace remake. Trainers works by it self (hotkey or Clicking in the UI). I enabled to inject overlay. Overlay shows when i used keyboard shortcuts. I click to enable option via overlay. I see checkmark but trainer never responds on enable, as if overlay doesn't sync up with trainer.

You are speaking about the ingame overlay, not the gamebar overlay, correct? I remember someone reported that in the past but I was never able to reproduce.

So the overlay shows up?
And you can tick on options on the overlay using the CURSOR?
But that will not trigger anything in Aurora?
And toggling options in Aurora, with cursor and with hotkeys, will not trigger anything in the overlay?
Game is running in fullscreen or window mode?
Do you have any other overlays enabled?

Yes i am using ingame overlay and it does shows up.

I can tick the box. i can resize it and interact with overlay. However the way it behaves is like the overlay and aura not connected. I have included screenshot with aura, overlay and game settings.

Even thou game got updated trainer still works. I can enabled via mobile app, aura GUI or hotkeys. But not throu ingame overlay.

Operating system is Windows 10. Recently i upgraded hardware. Ingame overlay that i tried was a few years ago (Before aura) worked. So my setup had a lot of changes. Windows is Up to date.

I also have steam overlay enabled for FPS counter. But since i can interact with overlay i am assuming this is not a problem.

That weird screenshot is because i have dual momotor setup (Extended desktop). So the game i am running is a borderless window.

Tried to disable steam overlay, exclusive fullscreen and regular window. Didn't work

i can confirm similar behavior with Mechwarior 5: Mercenaries. the (trainer) in-game overlay does show up, and can be interacted with using the normal controls, but they dont actually communicate with aurora itself, and thus, dont activate the cheats or, in the case of the editor, do the edits. alt+tab to aurora and everything works as intended. just putting my 2 cents in for diagnostic purposes.

You say you can resize it, how are you doing that? Window size should be fixed. Also I just tested it again with the game Raft. Once the overlay shows up I press Ctrl+Shift to get the cursor and then tick on infinite health and Aurora immediately says "activated".

When i say resize, i meant overlay resize. Due to high resolution (DPI) i need to resize overlay, otherwise i can not see properly. it is Ctrl+Shift+PageUp as stated in auora .

I can click on the overlay. I can get the checkmark on overlay, But that is all that happens. The trainer doesn't say activated. And on the screenshot (as i provided in previous post) you can see that i have enabled 2 options, but on the overlay it is not checked.

PS. I am not using Xbox overlay, just regular ingame overlay
