I couldn't find anything related to this issue I'm having, and it's only been recent. Every time I access the site, Dark Mode is always enabled. Changing it to Light Mode via the toggle on the main toolbar or going into my User Settings doesn't keep that setting saved. I've tried logging out and back in, still doesn't work. I've never had this issue before, so I'm at a bit of a loss in wondering what the cause could be.
that is on the to do list on the next site re-design. try checking to see if your browser cookies get deleted when you close the browser or if they get auto deleted

Dark mode IS the default setting for the site. All visitors that have not specifically turned on the light mode toggle and have it saved in their cookies will get dark mode. But if you switch the toggle in the top right of the site, the site will stay in light mode until the cookie for the setting either expires or is cleared. Same thing for the toggle in MY SETTINGS.
As far as I can tell, my cookies ARE set to save the Light Mode setting when I toggle it in MY SETTINGS, but it doesn't work. Is there a particular cookie setting I should look at in my Permissions settings in my browser? Chrome in this instance.
