Hi I'm no expert so if this is a stupid thread I don't mind if it gets deleted.
With that said, I've tried CoSMOS a few times before and have always felt that it consumes an extreme amount of memory.
For example, when running the initial (first) scan on Dead Space (remake) the memory footprint of CoSMOS is over 58Gb (my system has 64), and after about 1,5h with the "progress bar" at about 98%, I gave up and closed CoSMOS.
So my question is if the game, in this case, Dead Space (remake) consumes about 6Gb of memory, why is CoSMOS consuming almost 10 times the applications it scans?
I've tried both the "Beginner" and "Advanced" versions with the same experience.
Cheers

Cosmos will store scan results in memory instead of hard drive. However on no game I've ever reached 58GB memory usage, that's an insane number. What exactly did you searched for? Value? Value type? In general it is not recommended to search for values like 0 or 1 as they will give the most results.

I've did a scan for the value 3 since that was how many nodes I had when trying, I did a second scan for 8300 since that was hos much credit I had.
