It is up to McAfee which SSL it breaks and which not. Similar to why some trainers are getting flagged while others don't. Only McAfee knows why but that does not change the fact that they're doing what they're currently doing and it's their action which breaks it.
People think that developers of a software are responsible when AV's break it but they dont. Not long-ago Microsoft Windows Defender flagged Chromium applications such as Discord but also Google Chrome etc. It wasn't the fault of Discord. It is not our fault if our trainers getting flagged nor if our website traffic is getting analyzed and re-encrypted with a different SSL certificate. And with fault I also mean that there is nothing we can do. Even IF we change a 0 to 1, it is not said that any AV receives a future update and everything happens again. That means if we don't want to fight against windmills, McAfee has to stop that behavior in their software. The right step would be contacting McAfee's support and asking them what the hell they're doing but these companies are almost impossible to contact. Most of the time the first level support has no clue either. You would have to talk to a developer.

So im guessing aurora was updated today? SSL Certification failed please download aurora from the website - Yeah, turned off the protection and opened Aurora again to test it and it auto updated like it was supposed to instead of telling me to download it again. I'll just turn it off for the auto update to work from now on. Maybe i'll try contacting Verizon or Mcafee about it
Thanks guys <3

Or perhaps they can tell you how you can whitelist this domain in their software, if they don't care to fix it.

I dont think its possible.. the feature itself is controlled via the My FIOS app and the feature seems built into the service/router so i cant change anything. The only things i can change i already have everything set to Allow which is basically just website family restrictions for certain types of sites so the SSL stuff is a specifically protected protocol but only when its enabled, for whatever reason.
Which... i guess i dont really need anymore since my kid is an adult now lol.. But... ugh, whatever, i'll just disable it lol
