So I was searching for a CoSMOS alternative for the deck and found cosmos. Cool. Also the non steam deck version claims that most CoSMOS tables are working which is excatly what I Wanted. But when I launch CoSMOS it can't see CoSMOS tables only cosmos tables... Now they basically don't work at all because of OS or am I missing something?
Wine/proton makes it's own C drive and emulates how windows works so I don't really think it should be super hard to make them work(I might be completely wrong tho)
I don't really want to dig in into scripting and stuff I just want to load up some tables and skip some grind in JRPGS. And as far as I can tell there's very few cosmos tables out there, especially ones that I care about.
Would it be hard to make it work like that? Or is there a way to convert a CoSMOS table into a cosmos table? that would be even easier and a nice solution.
No, the CE tables will likely not work with Steam Deck CoSMOS as they were written for WINDOWS memory addresses and not SteamOS. Steam Deck CoSMOS was made mostly for you to use it on your own.
