I been using the tool for spider man and got heath to increase but it's really slow to search for values I was able to do a side mission before the first scan was done.

The steamdeck has limited hardware power. On top of that if you play the game while it scans, the hardware is shared between game and Cosmos. This is a limitation that cannot be avoided when scanning on the device itself.

Yes first scan, it makes basically a memory snapshot of the whole game. And if you then perform a rescan, it compares every single address against changes.

However Cosmos already uses HW acceleration if supported. So the only way to make a scan faster is by having a stronger CPU and more memory.
