Aurora does not register key presses from the Elgato StreamDeck (not to be confused with the portable machine from Steam).
I have a TKL keyboard, and I like to use my StreamDeck to layout the cheats and label the buttons. Some are even toggle to show if the cheat is enabled or disabled.
This is an issue with the function keys as well, so I can't activate a trainer with the StreamDeck either.
I've not had an issue with any of the standalone trainers. Not sure why Aurora is giving me the middle finger 😂 No error messages or noises or anything

Aurora and standalone trainers are identical when it comes to hotkeys. You said it works fine on standalone trainers, are those RECENT trainers or are they using an older template/GUI ?
I dont know how StreamDeck sends those keys technically, the documentation I found is only for end users showing how to set up these keys. There are different ways to simulate key presses and when it uses SendInput WinAPI function then it definitely not work.

He is correct that the normal SYSTEM > Hotkey is not recognized by Aurora for who knows what reason. But if you use Super Macro [BarRaider] > Keystroke PTT and then do "Capture Keystroke" and press F1 (or any other hotkey), it will work. Tested it myself.

Thanks for the replies.
0x90, apparently I was using older trainers. I recently played Battlefield 5, Far Cry 5, and Forza Horizon 4 and that worked with the Stream Deck. (Sorry I have 2 kids so my backlog is REAL!) I tried Rise of the Tomb Raider this evening and that appears to have a newer template/GUI, and it did not work, so I'm sure you're right. I can send Elgato an inquiry about this if you're interested in pursuing it.
PWizard, thank you for the recommendation. I installed Super Macro and {{numpad#}} did the trick for macro syntax. It's an easy workaround.
