The trainer is still completely unusable due to it expanding top and bottom off the screen. Unable to resize or move it. Unable to use aurora. I've mentioned this in another thread but it hasn't been fixed.

It is completely unusable in this state. You need to fix it where it'll fit on smaller screens. I have a 14 inch wide screen and I cannot access any of the app controls. This is bad app design but it has potential to be better. Please adjust the interface where it can display properly on smaller screens.

...or you could upgrade to a monitor from 1990+ that doesn't run 800x600. We have made a bazillion adjustments to how the screen works and I doubt there will be any more. It simply wasn't made to be run on monitors with extremely low resolutions. It's a modern app built for modern PCs. The average monitor size sold today is 27" at resolutions of 1080p MINIMUM with most of them running at 2500x1600 and up. My LAPTOP has a larger screen and resolution than your PC and it runs at 4K and is 4 years old. I'm sorry that the app is "unusable" for you but maybe it's time to finally upgrade.

The latest version of Aurora can be minimized to a size of 944x595. Go much lower and people with normal size monitors won't even be able to read it. Here is what it looks like on my screen at that size:

So I could argue the opposite. Aurora should be Larger, MUCH LARGER to accommodate people with my size monitor.

wonderful idea!!! care to tell me exactly how to replace the monitor on my laptop with a bigger one? or better yet, where am I to install a bigger monitor in my truck as I'm a professional truck driver. Or better yet!! why not give a useful answer instead of acting all rude like that? you're making me regret ever thinking of backing this project. I deliberately picked a smaller screen laptop [which is a brand new top of the line model by the way] because it's easier to carry and use with my on the go life style living in the sleeper of an 18 wheeler.

Your response was completely rude, and completely unacceptable by any standards.

    why don't you try this??
Since I don't know what language you're using, a good place to start looking would be this.windowstate = maximized on first launch. a simple solution that requires no changes to what you've done so far, won't even require retooling the interface.

You can resize it yourself either via taskmanager or via mouse hovering the taskbar icon and then right click onto the preview window. Just choose maximize in base cases and its properly resized again.

Its not the inches of your monitor but the resolution that matters. Aurora expects you are running at least on full HD. That is what 99,99% people are having nowadays.

True, as am I. But aurora by a default expects a minimum vertical resolution larger than many smaller laptops screens. What language did you use? C++? C# I will happily help supply a few lines of code to detect screen size, which you can then use in conjunction with a simple window size command to automatically reduce the size if it's stretching off screen. It would not require any interface changes since it can already display well on smaller screens.

Again full HD is expected, if you are lower than that upgrade your laptop. You are correct when you say that we COULD add support for that but I won't. You can try to use the workaround I've mentioned, Aurora will save the size when closing. If that doesn't help, then you really need to upgrade your hardware.

And as a side note it is way more complex as you might think to support any kind of resolution. Everything in the app has to scale up and down, starting with the main menu at the top for example which when it reaches a certain low size, has to shrink but still being controllable. While people with 80" screens running at 8k expect the app to not have too much empty space. And this goes for every single page the app has. We simply cannot support any kind of hardware from the 90's to 2022. Please try using my suggestions or consider upgrading your hardware to the standard.

I just looked at every "top of the line" laptop that Dell makes in a 13" and the lowest resolution is 1920x1080 with most of them running 1920x1200 and even 3840x2400.
