Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Message Board  

Hi people. I have recently started playing this game, enjoyed it so far but now I'm struggling with a mission in which I have to brand uruk and make them kill each other. However, no matter how many ways I've tried, I couldn't manage to brand them. Talion either blows their heads off or they esape. Either way, I can't continue the mission. Has anyone else also experienced something like this? I checked forums and stuff but couldn't find any answer.

turn off easy kill options

Regular Uruks you need to stealth and grab them, for captains you need to fight till their health is low enough for you to grab them and brand

Actually I don't activate easy kill option ever, I only use unlimited focus and arrow options.

By grab, do you mean Lctrl + Spacebar formula? Because game says that I should do LShift+E, which is a drain move. When I do that stealth drain thing, enemies run away the first time. No blue glowing eyes either. If I try the second time their head blow in a really satisfying way although it doesn't help me with the mission

Now I will try the grab option as well. Hope it works ^^

Drain is a different ability than Brand, make sure you have Brand unlocked. Not sure of the keyboard controls, I use an xbox1 controller.
