Left 4 Dead 2 Message Board  

Hello all,

I downloaded this trainer from my trainer manager page, and when trying to run it first time, instead of the usual Norton messsage, which I always then restore and tell it to ignore from then on, I got a different message.

I got that (something)cheathappensTrainer25.tmp had Ransom.Wannacry in it and that it should be removed and the Pc restarted to aviod the infection.

I never had this over the years, as in, I never had an AV reaction to a trainer from CH that mentioned a ransomware.

I just wondered if anyone else had this happen with this trainer.

Yes, we have seen this message before. It's a false positive. The file is clean.

I was just curious as over the years I have never seen this one come up with a trainer. 🙂
