To add more info to this, I have also started getting this message here. When I try to allow it, I get this message:
    "Keep dangerous file?
Even if you have downloaded files from this site before, the site may be temporarily unsafe (hacked). Try downloading this file later."

    Anything happened?

No, nothing has happened. Just stupid browsers being overprotective, that's all. All downloads from our site are safe.

Firefox just started doing this too, its obnoxious. You can right click the file in the download manager and click allow. You can also go into settings and turn off their Malware protection for downloads and it'll stop doing it, but they default it to on for some reason? I think it might be using the same site database as Chrome?

    Here's more info: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-does-phishing-and-malware-protection-work?as=u&utm_source=inproduct

Looks like they have a couple links at the bottom to get the site removed from the lists. Seems like they're being overly restrictive about this out of nowhere.

I was just dealing with this issue too, while I appreciate Chrome's effort to keep me safe it really should ask me first or allow me to easily add a site as trusted.

Guess I'm going to start using Microsoft Edge

Just to nip this **** in the unholy bud... When it gives you the warning, just show the file, then run regardless. Basically ignore malware notices from CH. They've been around so long it's awkward. The only way you're gonna get a virus from CH is is you try to download a copy from some skeevey site, it won't work because they're keyed to accounts and you just probably just downloaded a keylogger. Have fun with that.

It started at different times for different people.

It started with me about a year ago but it's not bothering me now. Mainly because I 86'd the damn thing and been using Edge since with no problems. 😏

I have been having this problem as well, but only with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection trainers. Both Chrome and Edge block those files for me. However, I have been able to download other files, like the Horizon Zero Dawn trainer without any issues.
