Is there a way to back up my games from Epic Games so I can reinstall them later? I had a odd thing happen, the Epic client crashed for some reason so I had to reinstall the client so I uninstalled the client and not realizing it it deleted all my games as well 😭 My question is there a way to back up my games so this don't happen again. The games are still in my library but I need to re-download them again. I am on limited data.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games and copy/paste your games into a new folder with a different name.

So this works in reverse when installing the game?

1) Go to the folder where your Epic games are installed. 2) Change the name of the folder of each game by adding a character to the end. I just enter a 1 so Metro Exodus would be changed to Metro Exodus1. 3) Begin installing the game again as if it were a new install. Let it get to 1% or so and then stop it. 4) Go back to the folder, delete the new game folder that was created when you started the new install and change the name of the old folder back to what it was by removing the extra character. 5) Resume the install of the game. It should change from "Installing" to "verifying". Once it's finished verifying you should be good to play.
