I just got nostalgic and wanted to re-run ME real quick. I can't see what version Steam is handing out(unless someone here knows how and can tell me) but the 1.02 trainer doesn't seem to wanna work. It sees the game but it's not having any effect; weapon cooldown, health, accuracy were the only options I was gonna run with but they didn't seem to work. I tried a cursory search for the Steam edition's version but I didn't see any answers. Don't wanna file an update report if I just screwed up. It's an old game so don't wanna bother them if it's just me missing something. Also, yes, admin run.

No. That doesn't help.

i installed the game myself the steam version, when i run masseffectlauncher from the game folder, press configure, when that finishes click on game, it tells me its 1.02 masseffect,
masseffectlauncher 1.01 and masseffectconfig 1.02, also the 1.02 trainer for steam works for me.

Whatever. I dunno what I'm doing wrong then.

are you using the steam trainer ? (2nd trainer on the page)
