I have tried disabling all firewalls. I have defender disabled as it keeps flagging trainers and labeling them severe threats and I even disabled MBAM. I completely unplugged from the internet completely and the offline key is STILL not being recognized on my Windows 10 machines. It always tells me the internet is down CH website unavailable and to download an offline key to use the trainer. The last time I had a working way to run CH trainers offline was when I was on Windows 7.

Have you tried disabling the network connection in Network and Internet Settings / Adapters?

In my case the offline key failed to work for a little while yesterday (Mar 03). It did not work even without any connections (no physical or wifi connection, no AV, no FW). After an hour or so offline key started to function normally (when I unplugged or even just blocked my internet connection artificially by using the FW).

edit: perhaps the CH servers had started to function again at that time. It should not have made a difference though, right?

Last Night my internet went off for several hours
During that time, I wanted to play a game which I use a trainer for
When i opened the trainer, the opening bar mentioned that the website was offline
It also suggested getting an offline key before closing
I already have an offline key. I place a copy in the same directory as the trainer
This has happened several times, either when my internet is off, or when the website is down for maintenance
    Can anyone help?

Make sure your offline key is refreshed every few months. try a new one.
