My method is to change the health value in the editor tab to something crazy, like hitting a couple of 2s or 3s in front of default, then locking the health. When I enter a room, my health is locked to that value, and I then unlock the health, switch over to the trainer section rather than have the editor tab open, and progress through that way. The enemies have their own default health, and mine stays at very high values until a health pickup or a heal hits me. This method does not work well with abilities and 'house upgrades' that give you constant heals.

Please do not retire this trainer, the health option is not easy to use due to the way the game works, but it is fine

The best way I have found is to let yourself get hit by a low damage hit or lava, the trainer will then pick up your HP. Afterwards, change your HP in the trainer.

Hey all, sorry to be a pain but I need help here. I have downloaded every framework in the support thread, I have restarted my computer, I have deleted everything CH related and reinstalled, yet the trainer is still not working at all for me. I have run both the game and the trainer in admin mode, alt-tabbed to the trainer splash screen, pressed F1, alt-tabbed back, obviously I am missing something since everyone else is complaining about functionality I am not even getting.

All I am getting when I run the trainer is the splash screen. Again, I have installed all the frameworks in this support forum, so unless one was missed I have all the requirements up to date. Every once in a while the CH trainer will give me the ol' "not responding" message, but for the most part it just hands on the splash screen, I have yet to see anything else. I followed the readme, no help. Followed all the suggestions in this thread, no help. Disabled my virus protection software, no help. Please let me know what I'm missing, I paid a lot of money to use this trainer as it's been updated 20x as of the last update, and I play very few games so it may very well be the only game I need it for.

Yeah, I reinstalled (repaired) both 3.1 runtimes, restarted, still hanging on splash screen. Disabled virus protection and tried again, no change.

Hanging on splash screen is weird. No other reports of this anywhere else.

Sorry guys, I got it. I was on vacation so I just now got back to it. I disabled my virus protection when originally trying to get it to work, but as it turns out just disabling the antivirus does not disable other features.

For Bitdefender users, make sure to add an exception for your trainer .exe to both the Antivirus and Advanced Threat Protection features, no need to completely disable either, and the trainer will not stick on the splashscreen. Thanks for the help!
