Accidental File Association

    I figure the easiest way to do this is to remove the 7zip option from file extension defaults but I have not been able to find a way to do so - just uninstalling the app does not accomplish this.

    Did you reboot your PC in the whole process just once?

    Try this -> Link for the .exe association.

    Don't forget the 'EXPORT' step for the association or export your Registry before you start.

    That did it! Just set all .dat values to (none) and restarted and it works fine now. Thanks for the help!!!!

    Weird, okay it appeared to work. It opened like normal so I went to open Subnautica and by the time that opened the trainer had closed/disappeared. So I opened it again and back to square one - retried the .dat fix and restarted but it still doesn't work.

    ... it seems I was too fast though.

    Do you have the necessary scan exclusions for the trainer exe file and for the Work folder located here? -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\
    Good for health, bad for education.

    Are you referring to virus/security software exceptions? I've got everything off right now..
