Feedback, Complaints or Problems

You guys should really reach out to BitDefender support regarding these issues or at least start a thread on their forum if they have one. We shouldn't have to be making up workarounds for THEIR software blocking things you tell it not to block.

Thanks, finally it work, at least got workaround till the damn BD do some changes.

Yes, will do so, they should really do it better, so regret to change from Avast to BD. Never facing this kind of **** in Avast.

Uninstall Bitdefender and it breaks my Windows Defender. Install and cause me a lot of trouble with false positive.

To uninstall it you must use their uninstall tool. Link

I just submitted my tmp file as a false positive, they said it would be fixed in a signature update. His exact words were "You'll see". Indeed we will.

Flood 'em with submissions, let them see just how terrible "Advanced Threat Defense" is. In the meantime, I've just disabled ATD, whitelisting obviously doesn't work, though I would think using a fixed number for the temp file would resolve that.

I was in the AV industry for 14 years.
I would suggest:
1. Norton Antivirus (no need for firewall, everyone uses windows firewall anyway).
2. ESET. If you are not in the USA, I would suggest this above Norton.
