I can't seem to be able to start a trainer.

I tried it with and without internet and run as administrator as well.
I run Windows 10 and use Windows defender.

I start the program by double clicking it, and the rectangle box shows up.
It says Cheathappens Website offline. Download an offline key to use this offline.
Box closes. Nothing happens.

I download offline key.
Cheathappens Website Offline. Offline mode enabled. Box Closes. Nothing Happens.

I've done all this with and without internet. with and without offline key. and with/without run as administrator. What am I missing here?

In Windows Defender, white list the trainer file or add it to the exception list, Windows Defender may be blocking it.

I've added Trainer, the folder the trainer is in, cheathappens folder and the work file to the exception list and still nothing.
I've also tried renaming the trainer and changing the location of file as well.

Go to c:\users\your_name\cheathappens and if a file or folder called "work" exists, delete it. Disable AV, right click run as admin on trainer.

Alright, I've gotten part that.

It is not showing a different box saying
'There was an error while preparing the GUI. This might have been caused by a corrupted setting file. Do you want to delete the setting file? Trainer will be closed nevertheless. YES/NO'

I've tried deleting the entire cheathappens folder as well but it still comes back to this box.

Also, Inside the Cheathappens folder there is now a Work Folder, inside which is blank

Yes go ahead and delete the setting file as well as everything inside C:\Users\user name here\AppData\Local\Temp. Also delete the trainer and get a fresh copy of it, put it in the folder you have excluded from defender scans and extract it, then right click and run as administrator again.

the work folder should be blank unless a trainer is running.

I've re deleted the cheathappens folder.
Then emptied out the temp folder like you said.
Then also redownloaded the zip file. Put the zip file into the folder that has been excluded before extracting it.
Disabled the real time scanning on windows defender.
Opened the properties of trainer and set it as run as admin. Save and closed.
Then right click and run as admin manually just in case.
And its like i didn't do anything at all because I am still stick at
'There was an error while preparing GUI, etc.'

I figured it out. Thanks
