I have like 5400 credits here - is that enough to pay for a simple program that will add a CTRL+ to ALL TRAINERS I run?
I never got the whole NumPad thing - I use it all the time for my left-handed game play, so when it gets mapped by trainers it ruins all my keymaps, and I have to individually modify them, some of them EVERY TIME I play the game, which is a pain and results in the opposite effect the trainer is supposed to have: PLAY MORE. When I have to re-edit everything every time, it lessens the fun.
I never understood why trainer keys had to be a one-stroke thing anyway - hardly ANY trainer buttons are actively used! You press them once a game. So why take up single keystrokes with that?
So will 5400 buy anything along this line?
Some of the older trainers will still work with the old editor, but he newer trainers you have to fix them every single time... specifically not Sniper Elite 4, which is how they should all work, but Borderlands the Pre-Sequel for one, and all other trainers using that engine.
CAn a get a CTRL+?
5400!!!!
okok, 5433!!!

we chose numpad because most trainers have 10 or so options or less, would require ONE FINGER on ONE KEY to activate the option, and most games DONT use the numpad numbers for the actual game keyboard controls.
It's just that simple. This, in fact, has been copied by other so called trainer makers who have copied these other things we do:
1) that we put box art
2) that we have sounds saying activated, etc.
3) and many other things our trainers do that weren't common place
I see no reason to change, and there's been literally one request for this in all my trainer programming years, which was the one you made.
So with that said, we won't (at least my template) be adding this to the trainer template.
best,
Cal
