To prevent crashes:
You all need to disable all options before entering the psygate / upgrade menu.
After that you can enable them when you exit the portal.

Just a Heads-Up: When you get to stage 5/6 [The crusader ship before Caliban's will] you will have the Plasma Cannon unlocked for your character.

This gun will NOT fire unless you have 'Unlimited Ammo' turned off

Reason: It's a 'charge' gun: Fire - wait to 100% - fire (etc)

Suggestion: Perhaps 100% charge for the Plasma cannon (and other 'charge' guns that perhaps I have not seen/ unlocked yet] could be enabled? 🤔

(I did search but did not see this problem/non-problem mentioned before. Would be awesome to see a rapid firing plasma cannon though)

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering why the Plasma Cannon wouldn't fire for me.

We are being consumed by statism (state-ism). It is very unfortunate that our normalcy bias prevents us from being aware of this. Also, regardless of our level of awareness, the end of this process will be our enslavement to the state.

The plasma cannon not firing issue also applies to Barachiel (Heavy NPC) - if you equip him with the plasma cannon and turn this on he won't fire at all.

There are no other charge weapons that suffer this issue.

The Spear of Caliban is a rapid fire plasma cannon. It uses ammo as a regular weapon but needs to recharge slowly after depleting. The ammo cheat allows you to render yourself blind with flashy blue glow all over your field of view. 😀

Also, the v1.03 trainer still functions correctly with game version 1.06. I successfully tested every option except the fervour points.

Yep, the plasma cannon became available to one of the in game NPC's first. I noticed at the time that he was not firing it as he should - now of course I understand why.

I have the same issue regarding going into the arming menu. I have all options on and when I stand in the spot you are supposed and hit E, it crashes to Desktop. BTW, this is the only time, so far in the game, in which it will crash.
