Hi everybody!
I'll try to help you with the research points glitch when using option 1 of the trainer.
This is how I manage to do it and it works for me.
First of all, you have to find a research point in the map without using any option of the trainer. I use one located in Marin, in the first zone after the prologue, below a dock, in the marina. Stay very near from the desired point.
Then, restart the game with the trainer. I use the version just before the new release of today, with option 6 and 7 broken. Activate option 1, then return to the main menu and from there, resume to your game.
Afterward, go and grab the research points, with the quadricopter in my case, and you'll see that it remains on the minimap.
Last, go back to the main menu et resume to the game. Grab again the research point. Do it as long as you need.
It is tedious but it works for me.
I tried to be as clear as I can, but I'm not natural in English...^^ I hope it will help you.

It's work about all type of research point ? Because you need to pick up some point and sometime you need to hack them

doesn't work at other locations for me... could be something to do with quadcopters? because non quadcopter research points it doesnt work........

Yes, you keep active option 1.
The one I use, you have to hack it with the quadricopter.
You have to find the research point without using the trainer. So you need to restart the game with the trainer after doing that.
Je vais t'expliquer en Français pour que tu comprennes mieux :
Lance le jeu sans trainer. Trouve le point de recherche, celui que je farm par exemple, dans le quartier Marin, sous un dock, près de la marina.
Quitte le jeu en restant près du point de recherche. Relance-le avec le trainer (j'utilise l'avant-dernière version du trainer).
Active l'option 1 puis retourne au menu principal du jeu. Puis relance ta partie via l'option "continuer".
Ramasse ou hack le point de recherche ( hack avec le quadricoptère dans mon cas de figure). Tu constates alors qu'il reste indiqué sur la minimap.
Retourne au menu principal puis relance ta sauvegarde via "continuer", autant de fois que souhaité.

I managed to do it with the little bot, at another location.
I think you have to find the research point without having used the trainer yet or beeing activated.
Try a new game maybe...
