I am using the latest version of the trainer, run as admin with AVG and Malwarebytes disabled and the trainer added as "allow" as both inbound and outbound rules in Windows firewall.

I load the trainer. then I load the game and press F1 in the menu.

"Trainer activated"

I start a singleplayer game (steam is also set in Offline mode) and let the piggies bit me once. I press NP1

"Please Wait" ...... "Activated!"

I fire off a round and press NP2

"Please Wait" ...... "Failed!"

so I try again by completely draining the clip and reload. I press NP2 again

"Please Wait" ...... "Failed!"

ATM for me only the no damage option works. I don't know if the game got an update since the last trainer update as I just bought the game today.

EDIT: I use Windows 7 pro 64bit as my OS

Have you set up exception rules for the trainer? Both, AVG and Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware still run background processes when disabled. Try to temporarily uninstall both. Depending on your Windows version look up your Defender settings & SmartScreen (if they were properly disabled by 3rd party software).

Other than that please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game.

Keep in mind that it takes at least 3 reports until the trainer gets reviewed.

considering this trainer is maybe like 8 months old, the game may have updated

File Version 2.1.1.8, October 2019, has option 1 and 2 (inf HP and Ammo) working.
Option 3 (grenades/items) though, after a lot of trials in different situations, won't work.
