TL;DR Don't do anything with your mouse/keyboard until the trainer has moved past the "Authenticating Trainer" message in the footer

Just to throw my 2 cents in here, there is a possibility of some sort of debugger running which causes the trainer to crash amid other things. The CH-DRM does various checks on startup, so the best thing would be to just let the trainer load, and when it passes the "Authenticating trainer" message in the footer you can carry on.

One of the things it also checks for is the current foreground window, so if you load the trainer and bring another window to the foreground the trainer will crash.

If you look a couple of messages back, I did say I now have the game (Home Front)running and the correct trainer running together, I get the activated message, then in the game I click the appropriate keypad number and I get the activated message but still nothing happens (Key One: Unlimited Health) to test I let the enemy shoot me, I Die.
I must also say I would not be happy giving remote access to my computer to anyone.
I am in the process now of downloading other trainers for games I have, to see to what extent this is happening (It may be some trainers will work).

That's a clear sign of something still blocking the actual code injection but just not the trainer itself (classic Norton). Also a sign of not right-clicking and running the trainer and game as admin.

I thought I was supposed to be the bad guy !!
You are now calling me a liar, I have already stated that I was starting the game and trainer as administrator, When I get time I will completely un-install Norton while I am off-line, That is all the security I have, as I said I do not have Windows Defender Installed. I am also up dating a couple of stem games to see if it is only games on my computer.

I didn't mean to call you a liar, simply stating the two things that could have that effect. If the game doesn't crash when you try and use options and they have no effect this typically something is blocking the injection routines or you don't have high enough privileges to execute the injection.

Note that we uploaded a new version of the SS3 trainer today as it had a recent patch. We also downloaded and tested the latest Homefront trainer with the legitimate Steam version and it worked perfectly in campaign mode.

Just throwing my 2 cents in here as it hasn't been broached yet in the discussion. A vast majority of trainer options (or at least for the games I play) have specific instances in-game where they will work then and only then. It's all located in the readme file with the download as well as the Instructions/Notes/Info(depends on age of trainer) tabs of the trainer. A heads up on anti-virus Norton sucks with trainers... I use a dual combo of Mcafee and AVG Free and have yet to have a trainer not work because of having them active. I don't remember if I had a pop-up window in the past that I had to click allow this type of program before but even if I did the AV software hasn't given me problems since.

OK I Deleted Norton, and a few other programmes that seemed to be doing nothing with no adverse effect (Done while off line.
I then tried Homefront again a couple of times The first crashed the same, the second just froze.
Shut down went to bed, next day went through the same procedure and It actually worked The Game and the Trainer.
You said I didn't need to delete Norton every time I played a game so I re-installed it started the game and trainer, and we're back to stage one.
Conclusion (at least on Homefront)I can run the game and the trainer now, but I have to wait until I have a few hours free to make it worth deleting Norton each time I play.
