PWizard, Caliber, and Chu, just want to thank you all for getting this trainer out as fast as you did, and its update even faster. Love the work that you all do! I do, however have a request: can the trainer be set to remove excess skill points as previous Total War trainers did? Using the skill cheat results in a lot of skill points, but hitting the hotkey again doesn't seem to remove the excess points, resulting in the LL, Lords and Heroes having too many points and at the end of turns you constantly get the message that they need to upgrade.
I know it is a minor issue, but with the cheat for level making them level 100 rather than adding one level at a time, it is a tad bit annoying to get that message after every turn. Obviously this isn't an urgent must fix it now issue, just one I hope you'll consider for future versions.
Anyway, glad I have been a lifetime member for so long as your trainers are second to none. Glad you all are on top of these much needed trainers. Best wishes for continued success!
as the trainer says, you can set that number to anything you like, and then use the option again to set it lower if you want

Sorry I haven't posted before now. Thanks for the quick answer Cal. However, I know nothing about changing your trainer, as I haven't programmed in 16 years since back surgery led to my being permanently (I was an IT specialist prior). Do the msg boards contain a "how to" regarding changing values in the trainers? Can you or someone else direct me to them if they do exist?

Just click in the cheat and you will see a place to change the number
(if there is a value you can change it, otherwhise there is no use in that text box)
Is very easy so i'm not sure if there is any "how to" but I don't think that you will need it
Also remember that in this case the reset for skill is just this method with 0 value

So the favour automatically turns off after a few seconds which means if you have an unbalanced economy your game is over.
Prior to this the money count was all 9s regardless of that option.
This is no longer the case as of the micro update to the game yesterday.
Timed money is of little use unfortunately.

leaving the option running constantly and the AI gets it is also not useful, is it?

Hello, sorry if this has already been covered and answered, not going to lie I didn't read all 25 pages of replies, skimmed through a little but out of what I checked I didn't see anything regarding this question. The trainer option that gives Lords skill points, it works for my legendary lords, I currently don't have a regular lord to try it out on but the option doesn't work for my heroes (examples: my runesmith and thane as Dwarf and vampire and necromancer as VC). The option says it works for Lords and Heroes but I can't seem to get it working for the heroes.
Anyone able to skill up their heroes?

You should be able to just buy a regular lord from any stronghold you own, <3> button when selecting a city you own, or the Fist with a Flag behind if you are looking at the buttons on the lower part of the screen when selecting a city, also, you said that "the option says it works for lords and heroes"
Do you actually hear "activated" when you try and give heroes in Vampire Counts and Dwarf heroes?
Because I suspect you might be in the wrong tab of the trainer when, you need to switch from the instruction tab back to the hoykeys tab, or else the trainer is more or less paused.

On to my own issues here; Caliber, I have noticed that the F4 option that refreshes a army's units back to full strength is breaking the game, it makes quick loading freeze the game permanently, and trying to exit to windows also freezes the game in such a way, and the armys/bases ring that shows how close you can move your armies vanish for a few turn, they come back and are permanently stuck, even worse the longer you play the more rings appear, and stay there, effecively bogging down your game, until you get as low as 10-15 fps. It can't even be normal save and loaded to remove em, but its tedious as all hell.
Could you take a look and see what could be causing it?

I'm struggling with this too. I've used both the level up option and the skill point option on my army commanders and it works fine with all of them. However the hero units (equivalent of diplomats and assassins) don't seem to work. I hear the trainer say activated but unlike on army commanders the hero unit doesn't get the little gold chevron over the unit picture.
I've tried doing it when they are in an army and when they're separate with no difference. Am I missing something?

Yeah, has never worked for me on heroes. I believe we just need to accept that it is for Lords only, and the description is just a little wrong. Would be nice, but the other trainer functions all work perfectly, and with 82hrs played I have had no crashes or issues at all. So I am happy anyway. 😀
The level/skillpoints options works for me on ALL factions on both heroes and lords, I don't think the option is broken, but I suggest that all people who's level/skillpoint options don't work on their heroes should post what operating system they are using, trainers are such delicate things and need constant tweaking to be able to work on all systems with different software
