All seems aok on my end at the moment with that.

For anyone wanting a 100% safe no encounter method, the relic code for the Molulu Charm or whatever it's called is #222

Strip your relics off a character and edit #222 in as one of them. And Bob is indeed your uncle. Use the +items code with it if you're clever. To give yourself as many as you need for your multi-party parts.

*edit* And yes, I do now realise that only Mog can wear that relic. It's not even been that long since I played the game lol.

Ah well.. Useful for a wee time in the WoB once you get Mog. Floating Island springs to mind.

At least in this case the game update was extremely needed, can now play in full Offline mode.

So there should now be save files I imagine..

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\42301311\382900 seems to be the save file location

not 100% sure though..

In the Steam version, the "Offering" relic is called "Master's Scroll"; it's Item ID #211.

Also, in case this may be of some use, a list of equipment and relics is available here:

To determine the ID code of a specific item:
1) Open up the file in a text editor;
2) Locate the name of desired item;
3) Make note of its line number;
4) Subtract 2 from the line number to get the ID code.

Example: "Master's Scroll" on the list, is on line 213. Subtract 2 from the line number (213 - 2 = 211).
Enter the result in the appropriate slot in the Editor.

Of course.. If I just edit that Molulu Charm into a relic slot of someone in my party.. And don't remove it. Then not only is Bob my uncle.. But Fanny is my aunt too.

That inspired thought just came to me lying in bed this morning btw lol.

It should work absolutely fine without causing any problems. Because in the old SNES version it even gave you 1 party member wearing gear they couldn't actually equip when they joined your party. I'm going to say Edgar but I might be wrong.

All I did was open the file, and posted the number off to the side, of what you would use inside the editor. So just find said item, replace the number, back out of the menu, and go back into the equip screen to see change and viola!
