Might be a day old replying to this, but some Antivirus apps overrule common sense settings. For instance, I use BitDefender. I have to set the folder where I store the game trainers as an excluded zone (so it won't try touching those files for scans) and then you ALSO have to add the process for the trainer's EXE to the exclusion list, or it will stop it from running after the "customized for..." splash screen.
This seems to be a common trend with many AV's, don't just allow the files, you also need to allow the runtime process from the trainers executable (the part that shows up in task manager in Windows).
Great trainer BTW, works wonderfully for me on 8.1 Pro x64 with Bit Defender AV Plus 2015, guys. Equipment Editor was a nice addition to the first version.

I haven't had it break any quests, but I had it break my characters.
Be extremely careful if you aren't planning on editing a character's stats. The Infinite Items option /will/ increase the Anomalous Orbs/Blessed Orbs/ *Insert name* Orb to 99, and will thus supercharge your character's HP.

You can still use the option. Just make sure not to use it in the "Newly acquired/Valuables" tab.
Use it while in the gel/snacks tab to get gels and snacks. Rest of the inventory will be unaffected.
